This is a brand new laptop (first used this Saturday), running the most recent version of Shotcut. I do not have it set to sync the folder my project is in. Shotcut is a clean-cut, bare-bones open source video editor thats a one-stop shop for getting your content revised and completed with minimal fuss. Google Drive Sync does run occasionally in the background, but it is not currently syncing anything new.

I now have replaced my computer with an HP Spectre x360 with 1 TB storage (currently with 748 GB free) and 16 GB RAM. I experienced these issues with my first video I made last month, but I thought that was more to do with my computer and the complexity of the video than the program. It will freeze up and say “Not Responding” after every click.
